Award winning comedian Jeff Green has established himself as one of the most popular comics working in the UK today. Jeff’s razor-sharp observations combined with an abundant natural charm have marked him out as one of the brightest talents on the British comedy scene. In 1994 Jeff was nominated for the prestigious Perrier Award at the Edinburgh festival. He also hosted The Comedy Club (LWT) and toured with Jo Brand. 1996 proved to be a great year for Jeff with a sell out solo tour of the UK and a 45 minute television special - Jeff Green Live (ITV) which was recorded at Her Majesty’s Theatre in London’s West End. In 1997 Jeff took Australia by storm, playing to sell-out audiences at the Melbourne and Sydney comedy festivals. He also had his second ITV special Jeff Green-Up West which was recorded at The Gielgud Theatre in London’s West End. 1998 saw Jeff writing and performing his third Christmas special on ITV - You’re Only Human with Jeff Green as well as his first sell out West End run - Love Bites at the Apollo Theatre. Rounding off the Millennium in 1999 Jeff made his 4th appearance on The Clive James Show; his 3rd appearance on BBC1’s They Think it’s All Over and a record breaking 5th spot on BBC2’s Never Mind the Buzzcocks Jeff enjoyed a sell-out run the 2000 Edinburgh Fringe Festival. 2001 saw Jeff touring his new stand up show across the UK and Australia, record a full length Comedy Store special for Channel 5. In 2002 Jeff enjoyed another sell out run in Edinburgh, toured the UK & Australia with his new stand up show and was seen on BBC1’s Jo Brands Hot Potatoes as team captain. Rounding off the year he released his first book: The A-Z of Living Together which went to no 5 in the Sunday Times best sellers list, staying in the top 10 for 5 weeks and selling 125,000 copies. He also found time to release his first CD: Jeff Green - Debauched Cherub. In 2003 he has performed at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival, finished his follow-up book: The A-Z of Being Single and recorded a live video from London’s West-End - Back from the Bewilderness. In 2004 Jeff performed again at the Edinburgh fringe and toured the UK with his live stand-up show ’From A-Z’. In 2005 Jeff wrote his third book: The A-Z of Having a Baby (published Nov 2 2006 through Little Brown) In 2006/7 he recorded two series of ’The Green Guide to Life’ for BBC Radio 2 and toured the UK and Australia with his stand-up show ’Personal’. This is Richy here from the Rogues Gallery. Just thought I should give you a heads up that Episode 1-4 are now up on the myspace. Enjoy them all in their lackluster glory. Hopefully like a fine wine it will be matured, have character and all traces of poo jokes eliminated.
Check by our myspace this Monday coming when we have Tripod on for a special Rogues Gallery podcast.
Catchya later

P.S Be great to have you on the show time. Hopefully when we are better and not so needy.
Hi, the Professional Geek from Brighton here (smartly dressed in the front row last night).
I just wanted to apologise for my job not being very funny. In future I promise that if asked I will say that I am an assistant pig castrator (I used to know someone who was) - that should give you more material to work with. If it's any consolation, Julian Clarey also picked on me once and found I was the inspirational equivalent of a black hole.
I've been catching your shows since you were the supporting act for Jo Brand (who I thought was crap by the way) many years ago at the Theatre Royal in Brighton. You continue to be my favourite comedian! And I'm not just saying that because your agent is paying me.
I've even contributed to the "a-z of living together" website. Any plans to bring out another book?
Anyway, must dash! I'm about to win a bid for a caravan and my travel agent said he would phone back about my plans to visit Indonesia.
your gig in leeds was brilliant as usual. so sad you are leaving us. feel like we will miss out on the rest of your relationship adventures. after all you have shared your dating skills and tips!!! your trials and traumas of living together, fatherhood and marriage. what about your mid life crisis? your bus pass? your increasing incontinence and prostate examinations, your losing of marbles as you get older. who will make us laugh at ourselves (and you) if you arent here? but i am being selfish. i hope your new adventures in australia are good ones. but dont forget us. you could be the Oz version of Bill Bryson but much much cuter and sexier...enjoy yourself xx
Excellent show on Saturday night in Oldham, really enjoyed it. Gutted to hear it's gonna be your last tour though but obviously you've got your reasons for moving to Australia.
Hope everything works out ok over there for you & the family - kids eh, who'd thought!
Hopefully we'll see you back in the UK sometime in the future.
Hi Jeff We had a brilliant time at Kings Lynn last night. Havent laughed so much in ages ! Really enjoyed the show. It was lovely to see you afterwards - Thanks for the poster. Cant wait to get the new CD. Hope to see you again sometime soon. Good luck for the rest of the tour. Love and best wishes Denise and Jonathan x
Sorry to hear you won't be touring the UK anymore...the gig at the Brindley on Friday was great. Good luck with everything...hpoefully you'll still be doing comedy stuff down under that we can get?
Hiya, just checked out your tour dates and the nearest to me is Lancaster, gonna see if i can get some tickets for the show and hopefully see ya there, i will be the one rolling around on the floor laughing my head off ( just in case you don't spot me ) he he!!

Hi Jeff, I came to see you at the Lowry theatre in Manchester on Sunday night. Thought you were fantastic. My hubby was still laughing all the way home in the car. Thanks for a great night out.
